Online Registration Opens First of May!

The 14th annual Komen Tulsa Race for the Cure® will be held on Saturday, September 25 at CityPlex Towers adjacent to the beautiful campus of Oral Roberts University. Over 12,000 participants are anticipated at this year’s event which is open to everyone who wants to help put an end to breast cancer.  We have plenty of family friendly activities and events for serious runners, casual runners, walkers and supporters. 

Our route is sanctioned by the USATF and will take you along the scenic Arkansas River around River Parks. Our Opening ceremonies will take place near the starting line approximately mid-way between Lewis and Delaware to 81st Street.  Click here for the 5K course map.

The Komen Tulsa Race for the Cure® enables us to work toward fulfilling our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all, and energizing science to find the cures.  Up to 75 percent of the net income raised by the Affiliate supports local granting efforts to further breast cancer education, screening and treatment for the uninsured and medically underserved in Tulsa County. The remaining 25 percent of the net income is contributed to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Research Grant Program.

Race Day Schedule

6:00 a.m.	On-site registration and packet pick up begin
6:30 a.m.	Survivor tent opens for breakfast
7:15 a.m.	Opening Ceremony
7:45 a.m.	Timed 5K (NO CHIP-NO TIME)
8:30 a.m.	Survivor Ceremony
9:00 a.m.	Untimed 5K Run/Walk
9:30 a.m.	Awards Ceremony
9:45 a.m.	1-mile Fun Run/Walk-Untimed
10:30 a.m.	Closing Ceremony/Final Remarks

Race Fees

Adult entry fees are $25 for the 1-mile, $30 for the untimed 5K fun run/walk, and $35 for the timed 5K.   The timed 5K participants' bibs will contain a microchip.  This is required to receive your time.  If you do not have a chip, you will not be timed. On-site registration fees are an additional $5 for all adult events. 

Youth entry fees (17 and under) are $20 for the 1-mile, $20 for the untimed 5K fun run/walk, and $25for the timed 5K.  The timed 5K participants' bibs will contain a microchip.  This is required to receive your time.  If you do not have a chip, you will not be timed.  On-site registration fees are an additional $5 for all youth events.  Race entry fees include t-shirt.
